I\'ve been gifted of a dinner for 2 at Pier Nine for my birthday. What a wonderful unexpected evening!
We booked the table on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was full. The atmosphere was great. We been lucky, there was also a piano player who made the atmosphere even better.
Everything was top nock. Food superbly cooked, service friendly and attentive.

Very impressed with all our courses. All very fresh, well presented and cooked to perfections. Service also very good with knowledge about food and wine.
The only reason I am giving 2 out of 5 is because of the very uncomfortable table and chairs.
I think you need to sort out your seating and this will be a truly perfect restaurant experience guys!

We previously visited two years ago when they opened and we found Pier Nine very good indeed. We were not disappointed this time either. Again a group of seven, on a sunny June lunchtime, so able to dine outside in the garden. Everyone was very happy with their choice of food, Needless to say the food, service and ambience were all excellent. Prosecco was excellent too….. Would recommend highly.

The service, the food, the view, the garden, the cocktails… was all excellent. Treat yourself go to this restaurant for a diverse menu, out of this world for quality. Thanks for the evening!

Went there with few friends and had a delicious lunch, sitting in the garden. Food, drinks (a cocktail each and then a bottle of Italian prosecco) and atmosphere were all excellent. Service was great too.
Enjoyed a lot sitting outside in the rare sunshine.

Dined here last night to celebrate my husband's birthday. Although expensive for us which we knew it was going to be, the food and service was excellent and well worth the extra expense. The local turbot was cooked to perfection and the service was attentive and friendly.
I would thoroughly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion and we will definitely be back soon I hope.

Visited this restaurant last night after reading the positive reviews. We were not disappointed. Fabulous food and service make this hidden gem a really enjoyable treat. Can't wait to go back!

I had my sisters and family visiting last week, and I wanted to take them out for a special treat! So I booked a table and it was beyond my expectancies! Incredible food, incredible presentation, everything was served to very high standards.
I had the 21 day cured duck ham salad and as a main course the Assiette of Sussex pork . All music for the mouth! It was such an experience! The puddings there a hard choice as they look all amazing. I went for the pomegranate panna cotta and it didn't let me down!
Overall I recommend this place, highly, it was such a brilliant night out and my family were so happy.Well done to all of you!

My wife and I had the pleasure of eating at Pier Nine and we could not have enjoyed it more.
I had the Sussex fillet beef carpaccio which was delicious. As main the fillet of steak which was some of the best cooked steak I have had in a very long time.
My wife ordered the chicken liver parfait and quails egg and spinach ravioli. A delightful taste and not something you often see on a menu, she loved every mouthful.
We both had a 2 course meal, with some amazing Italian prosecco which was recommended to us by the charming and attentive host - the service was second to none.
All in all a wonderful evening and I would advise anyone to try.
